Internal Analysis

The disassembly process with the Krypton 750 is simple, as you only need to remove the rear Teflon skate and two screws. Afterwards the entire upper casing of the mouse will slide forwards and up.

The micro-controller that is being used with this mouse is a Holtek unit, with the model number: HT68FB560. This MCU has been widely used in both mice and gaming keyboards and has a proven record for reliability.

The clicks use Huano made switches, the blue shell with blue plunger model. These mechanical switches are known to be stiffer than your usual switch but they do offer good tactile feedback. Just like the regular Huano blue with white dot, these all-blue switches have an operating force of 70grams.

The middle click of the scroll wheel also uses a Huano mechanical switch, however, this has a black casing with yellow dot.

The encoder for the scroll wheel is made by F-Switch and has a brown casing brown with black core.

The side buttons use Huano switches, with a black case and yellow plunger. These offer good tactile feedback. However, due to their position, if pressed hard enough the casing of the mouse will start to flex and give in, so don’t overdo it.
