The Genesis Krypton 750 has a good design that uses the well-known honeycomb pattern cutouts in its casing. These perforations are done to reduce the weight of the mouse as much as possible.
The main features of this mouse are the removable back cover and the adjustable weight system. Two systems that are not often found in light-weight gaming mice.

In contrast to other Krypton mice, such as the Krypton 550, the Krypton 750 has a symmetrical casing. A feature that makes it ideal for both left-handed and right-handed users.

This mouse is available in two colors, black and white. In this review, we have the black variant.

The dimensions of the mouse are: 118 x 61 x 58 mm

The shape of the mouse, as I’ve said previously, is symmetrical and can be used by both type of users. The surface of the Krypton 750 is simple as its just a matte plastic finish. An interesting design choice, given that the Krypton 550 has rubberized pads on both sides for added grip.

The Krypton 750 is known for having a similar shape with the Razer Viper Mini. However, there are some design differences that make the Krypton 750 unique.

The back part of the mouse is removable and can be replaced with the included solid cover. The two covers are simple in design, one has the usual honeycomb perforations while the other is solid and sports the Genesis logo. It is good to point out that if you decide to use the solid cover, you will hide the RGB illuminated Genesis logo.

The weight system is simple in its functionality. You have a tray that holds all twelve weights. You can either remove each weight individually or keep them all in the tray. The weight holder sits on a plastic rectangle that is attached to the lower part of the body.

The RGB LEDs present on this mouse are good and share their shape and design with the Krypton 550 mouse. This mouse has three RGB areas, the scroll wheel at the front, a small strip at the rear and sides and the Genesis logo at the rear. The logo is installed below the honeycomb perforations and thus, can easily be covered or not seen clearly.

All LEDs can be customized via the included software.

The scroll wheel used with this mouse has a two-part structure with a simple design. The middle part uses a rubber insert that has a linear pattern. The RGB illumination is easy to see as the sides of the scroll wheel are made from semi-transparent plastic that will diffuse the light and color.

At the center of the mouse case we have a single small button. This is the DPI and profile cycle switch. It does exactly what you think, it will cycle through the profiles and thus through the DPI values of the mouse.

The sides of the Krypton 750 are simple in design, with no rubberized coatings or pads. The only different feature of the sides is the shape that is made to accommodate your fingers.

The side buttons are located on the left side of the mouse. These by default are configured as the forwards and backwards buttons. Fortunately, both buttons can be reconfigured through software.

The back of the Krypton 750 features the usual honeycomb perforations and the Genesis logo illuminated by RGB LEDs. The back of this mouse can easily be changed with a solid cover that is included in the package.

The underside follows the simple design used on this mouse. The Krypton 750 sits on two large Teflon made feet. Fortunately, you get a replacement set in the package.

Another thing present on the underside is the small switch that will switch the pooling rate of the sensor. It’s odd to not see the RGB toggle switch that is present on the Krypton 550.

The cable of the Krypton 750 has a length of 1.8m and is flexible. The flexibility is given by the paracord sleeving which covers and protects the wires. The connector used with this cable is a regular USB 2.0 which is gold plated for reliability.
