Founded in 1981, Trust International B.V is a company specialized in the manufacturing of IT accessories with its headquarters in Dordrecht, The Netherlands. The Trust products are oriented towards the budget segment of the market.
The Dutch company was initially founded under the name Aashima Technology B.V, but during the 90’ it became Trust International B.V. At this moment, the company has expanded in 19 countries from Europe while the Trust products are present in more than 44 countries.

Packaging and accessories

The product is packaged in a multicolored box, it maintains the camouflage design found on the mice.
On the front side, we find an overview image of the mice, in the middle there is its name while lower a couple of the mice features are presented.

On the sides of the box there are printed a QR code and the type of the mouse.

On the back side of the box the features of the product are presented in 6 languages. On the lower side, there is a general image of the mouse.

Visual inspection

The GXT 155C model has an asymmetric design and is available in 3 different variants (white camouflage, green, and black). It features a wrinkled texture for a better grip and the color scheme is composed from green and black.

The Scroll wheel has a rubberized texture in the middle and a smooth movement, the steps of the rotation are subtle, it also features multicolor illumination which can be configured through the Trust software.

Above the scroll wheel there are the DPI selection buttons, on the right side there are four LEDs for DPI indication.

Next to the left click there is an additional button for easy access.

On the left side of the mouse we find 5 buttons, these are fully programmable from the Trust software.

The right side of the mouse is raised in two steps for a better comfort and grip during use.

The mouse uses a 180cm green and white braided cable, and a gold-plated USB connector.

On the inferior side of the mouse we find mounted the four Teflon feet and the optical Avago ADNS-3050 sensor capable of 4000 DPI. On the right side, there is the profile cycle button.

On the lower side there is the slot for the included 8 metallic weights, each being 2 grams, in total 16 grams of weight can be added. The cap of the slot is removed by rotating it to the right.

Testing

The GXT 155C model stores the settings done within the software, in its on-board memory, this is a welcomed featured in the case of using the mice on a system that does not have the Trust driver and software installed. In addition, the mouse can be used without any software, plug-n play.

Software

The mouse can be configured using the driver offered by Trust on their website, this piece of software offers plenty customizing options with an intuitive interface.

The mouse was tested both in normal use & gaming.
Normal day to day use consist of Internet browsing & a few photo & video editing software.
The games used for testing are the following:
–    Battlefield 3 (multiplayer)
–    Battlefield 1
–    Grand Theft Auto V
–    Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
–    Rise of the Tomb Raider
–    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Final thoughts

The GXT 155C mouse is an example of a quality product offered at a competitive price, due to its features, shape and design.
The build quality is good, all the buttons offer an excellent tactile feedback and the texture increases the grip of the mice.
The software & driver offered by Trust is easy to use, most of the options for configuring the mouse, are easy to use. Also, the possibility of storing all the settings on the mice’s onboard memory is a welcomed addition.
In conclusion, the GXT 155C model is a good choice in this price range, offering multicolored illumination and a different look. The shape of the mouse is good and the button placement makes them easy to use.
