The Tonor TC-777 has a simple design with retro inspired elements, such as a chrome strip on the upper side, and an exposed metallic grill at the top. The microphone has a light blue matte finish, with all of its accessories being matte black.
The TC-777 uses a single USB 2.0 connector to communicate with the PC. This connector has no protective cap, or installation clip.
The cable of the microphone, while it is long, having a total length of 1.5m, it is not removable. This is a drawback especially since plenty of users have different needs from a cable, such as length or its outer shell.
The Tonor emblem is painted on the middle of the microphone body. This emblem can also be used to know which side of the microphone must be faced for optimal performance.
The mesh installed on the top of the microphone is manufactured from hard metal. These types of mesh usually have a high-density wire design, and will protect the internal components. In addition, the all metal structure provides a sturdy shell for the top part of the microphone.
One advantage of the Tonor TC-777 is the fact that the microphone is delivered with most of its accessories already installed. The only accessory that requires installation is the pop filter.
The shock mount uses flexible wires to hold the microphone in place and to also dampen any vibrations. The body of the shock is made from plastic and can swivel on the top of the tripod.
The tripod is made from metal and offers a good and solid base for the microphone to sit on. In addition, each of the three legs benefits from a pre-applied rubber pad, this increases the grip of the base and prevents any scratches from occurring.
