Fractal Design is a Swedish company known for their minimalist design of their products. The color scheme present in F.D products is black and white, scheme present in cases, power supplies and fans. Packaging and accessories
The Ion+ 660W Platinum is packaged in a rectangular cardboard box. The front side of the packaging features a profile photo of the power supply next to the textile pouch which holds the modular cables. The Fractal Design emblem and name are printed on the lower left corner, alongside the complete product name of the power supply.
The sides of the box present the technical specifications of the power supply and its dimensions. The connectors available in the case of the Ion+ 660W model are listed here as well.
The back side of the packaging presents the main features of the power supply. The right side is covered by a graph which is used to explain the functionality of the semi-passive fan control system included with the Ion+ 660W.
The power supply and all of the included accessories have a good protection thanks to the soft foam pads placed around the packaging. Both the power supply and the modular cables are stored inside Velcro strapped textile bags.
