Visual inspection
The P34A60 1TB has a simple design with a black PCB and blue accents on the front label. There are no unnecessary design elements present on this SSD, apart from the front label, this SSD is all black.
The Silicon Power P34A60 1TB has the standard M.2 2280 form factor which means that the SSD has a width of 22 mm and a length of 80 mm, and has a thickness of around 2mm.
The P34A60 1TB has a front label that follows the general theme of modern Silicon Power SSD labels. The background is an abstract dark blue pattern, while the manufacturer’s logo and the type of the SSD are printed on the left side. The model number and the serial number are placed on the right side on a solid white background. It is also worth noting that this label has a small text that reads “Warranty void if removed”.
The underside of this label is made from metal. This is done to create a small heatsink out of the front label, it is not much but it will provide some passive cooling.
The controller on the P34A60 1TB is made by Silicon Motion and has the model number: SM2263XT. This controller is widely used on many M.2 SSDs, it has four flash channels and is known to work great with TLC flash modules.
The memory chips used on the P34A60 1TB are made by Micron and have the model number: 29R04T2A0CTH1. There are only two memory chips installed on this SSD, each with a storage capacity of 512GB.
