Introduction
Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd was founded in 1975 with its headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, it is a company specialized in the manufacturing of power supplies for the consumer & industrial markets. In 1981 the company starts the production of power supplies for PC type of systems, being one of the first manufacturers to do so.
SeaSonic manufactures and sells power supplies under its own brand and is also the OEM manufacturer for many other power supplies companies. This makes Seasonic one of the well-known and respected brands in the industry.

Packaging and accessories
The Seasonic Prime TX-1000 is packaged in a rectangular cardboard made box which features a chromed design. The front side of the box has the Prime series logo alongside the name of the power supply. The entire box has a black and chrome design, with angular shapes as the background.
The sides of the box have the same dual color design and offer a brief description of the power supply. In addition, an actual photo of the power supply is printed on the narrower sides.
The back of the packaging describes the technical specifications and performance of the power supply. The left side has a graph showcasing the efficiency of the power supply and its behavior under load.
The power supply and its accessories are protected by a soft foam tray. The power supply is covered by two foam pads while the cables are in a separate cardboard box.
