The NFP075 2 TB is a single sided SSD, and it is simple in terms of the design. The PCB has the reference Phison PCB color and layout. The front of the SSD is covered by a paper made label which has the model of the SSD, its capacity, and the serial number.
The Neo Forza NFP075 2 TB has the standard M.2 2280 form factor which means that the SSD has a width of 22 mm and a length of 80 mm, and has a thickness of around 2mm.
The Neo Forza NFP075 2 TB has a single side design. This means that all components used on the SSD are installed on the front side of the PCB. While other SSDs use a copper made label to passively cool the SSD, this label is made from paper.
The controller used on this SSD is made by Phison and is the well-known model PS5012-E12S. This controller supports both TLC and QLC type flash memory and it is compatible with the PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface.
The NFP075 2 TB uses a single DDR3 chip for its fast DRAM storage. This chip is made by UnilC Semiconductor and is a 512 MB DDR3-1866L chip. This chip has the model number: SCB13H4G160AF-11MI and is being used to store the mapping tables of the drive.
The memory chips of the NFP075 2 TB are made by Toshiba and have a 96 layers TLC flash design. The model number of these memory chips is: TABHG65AWV. Each of these chips have a storage capacity of 500GB for a total of 2000GB or 2TB.
The smaller Phison branded chip found at the front of the SSD is the VRM controller of the drive. This controller is more than likely the widely used Phison PS6106-22.
