The lens adapters reviewed are the KF06. 453 which allows the usage of Canon FD lenses on Micro Four Thirds (MFT or M4/3) cameras, The second adapter featured in this review is the KF06. 441, which allows the usage of M42 vintage lenses on Micro Four Thirds (MFT or M4/3) cameras.
Both adapters are part of the new Generation 3 Pro series and feature an updated mount and newer design.
The main difference with these new Pro adapters design wise is the all-black color and the bright orange line.
The KF06. 453 adapter is designed to fit on all Canon FD and Canon nFD lenses. This is done by using a rotating mount meant to emulate the original Canon FD camera mount. The rotating part includes a pin that will push on the lever inside the lens and actuate the aperture spring.

The Canon FD adapter in particular shows a good performance as it never slips from the camera.

The third-generation adapters are better looking and better made than the previous models. The tolerances are even tighter and that is obvious especially with the Canon FD adapter that has moving parts.
