Dream Machines DM6 Holey Duo Wireless

Internal Analysis

The disassembly process of the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless is simple, as the case of the mouse is held in place by two screws. The before-mentioned screws are installed underneath the rear Teflon feet.

The DM6 Holey Duo Wireless uses a 700 mAh internal battery. Unfortunately, it is installed above the optical sensor and has no bracket to hold it in place inside the mouse. While keeping the weight low is important, having the battery secured in its place shouldn’t be ignored.

The switch used for the middle scroll wheel click is made by Huano and has a black casing with a white plunger. The encoder of the scroll wheel is made by F-Switch.

The side buttons use Huano made switches. Both have a black casing with a yellow plunger. The side buttons have a solid feel as they are not only installed on a vertical PCB but the PCB itself is held in place by a plastic bracket.

The DPI cycle button uses a Huano made switch. This switch has the same black casing with yellow plunger, like the side buttons.
