The DM6 Holey Duo Wireless is nearly identical in design with the DM6 Holey S. Both mice have the same casing, the same rubberized coating and the same honeycomb pattern cutout for weight saving. However, the main advantage of the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless is the wireless functionality and the new low power PMW3335 optical sensor.
The dimensions of the mouse are: 129 x 66 x 40 mm.
The shape of the mouse has a medium to large footprint, however, the sides of the mouse are not flared which gives the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless a narrow look.
The mouse casing is raised on the left side. This offers a better position for the finger, especially for reaching the left click of the mouse. However, this small raise in the body of the mouse is not enough to prevent left-handed users from using the DM6 Holey.
The main clicks use the Huano blue shell with white plunger mechanical switches. These have an operating force of 70grams and have a rated lifespan of 20 million clicks.
The scroll wheel used on the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless is made from two parts. The top and middle segment is soft rubber with a dotted pattern. The main part of the wheel is made from solid plastic which sports a glossy finish.
Above the scroll wheel there is the single DPI cycle button. This has a sating texture that blends well with the rest of the mouse.
The left side of the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless has two large buttons installed on the upper side. The rest of the casing has the same honeycomb pattern perforation which is done for weight reduction.
The side buttons of this mouse have a solid feel and the same satin texture as the DPI cycle button. These by default are configured as the “forward” and “back” buttons but can be reconfigured via software.
The right side of the DM6 Holey Duo Wireless is simple in design, with only the perforations present.
The back of the mouse follows the design of the rest of the mouse. There are no design elements placed on this side, not even the Dream Machine logo.
The underside of the mouse has the same perforations as the rest of the casing. However, this side features not only four Teflon made feet but three buttons. One that switches the mouse on or off while the other two will turn on/off the RGB LED and cycle through the available pooling rate.
The DM6 Holey Duo Wireless can work in either wireless or wired mode. At the front of the mouse there is a single USB Type C connector which is used by the included cable. Speaking of the cable, it has a length of 2m and a gold-plated USB 2.0 connector.
