ARCTIC initiated the trend towards quiet cooling systems for desktop PCs in 2001 and has given distinction to it ever since. Today ARCTIC is one of the leading manufacturers in computer cooling and has acquired profound know-how in consumer electronics.
Up until 2009, ARCTIC COOLING focused solely on cooling solutions. In 2010, we became ARCTIC with the additional aim to provide a comprehensive set of innovative consumer electronics and peripherals. ARCTIC’s long term goal is nothing less than being present in everybody’s home.

Backside Cooler for Highest Efficiency: ARCTIC has developed and patented a back side cooler for previously unknown VRM and RAM cooling performance.Voltage Regulator ICs are heating up the complete board to a level which is not just for the ICs itself dangerous, but mainly lowers the service life of other components dramatically. Our patented back-side cooler keeps the board and all components around the GPU on low temperature.
Complete Silence: Silence enthusiasts will definitely love the Accelero S3. As a passive cooler, it is completely noise-free while keeping the graphics card working under reasonable temperature.
Multi-Compatibility: The Accelero S3 features a versatile, problem free mounting system that allows this cooler to be the most compatible yet.
Installation Without Thermal Glue: Up to now the meticulous work of attaching different heatsinks with thermal glue was necessary. Thanks to the innovative back side plate this is a thing of the past. Without any thermal glue the graphics card can be returned to its original condition any time without leaving marks or residues.
In the right left corner of the black frame we find engraved the name of the cooler while on the left side we have the manufacturer’s logo.

Arctic Accelero S3 cooling performance
Arctic Accelero S3 Sound Performance
The Arctic Accelero S3 model is the ideal solution when we are talking about passive cooling a Graphics Card with a TDP of 135W in passive mode and a GPU with a TDP up to 200W with the S3 Turbo module installed.
In the passive mode the cooler does not generate any noise, thus reducing the noise of the entire system.
The installation process is fairly easy, the manual offers all the necessary information for mounting & using the cooler.
The main advantage of this cooler against the previous version is the use of the thermal pads to cool the VRM & memory and the inclusion of the metallic bar to support the Graphics Card and the cooler.
In conclusion, the Arctic Accelero S3 cooler is a step forward for the passive cooling offered by Arctic, bringing numerous improvements from the last cooler, being also accessible from a price point of view.
