2. Packaging and accessories
The StoreJet 25H3 1TB model is packaged in a white box with red & silver accents.
The front side of the box presents the product using a general image of it, on the top part there is printed the logo of the manufacturer. On the lower part we find the model, the type of connection used and the capacity of the HDD.
The sides of the packaging are simple, on the top part there is printed the logo of the manufacturer while on the lower part there is printed the model name of the product.

4. Visual inspection
The StoreJet 25H3 1TB model has a unique look, the HardDisk is covered entirely by a rubber/silicon case to dampen vibrations and shocks.
The front side is simple using a two-color design. On the lower part we can see the manufacturer’s logo.
On the upper right corner we find the button for the One Touch Auto-Backup function.
This button is also an activity LED.
The sides of the Hard Disk feature 4 spaces to prevent slipping.
The connector for the USB 3.0 cable is placed on the upper side of the Hard Disk. The connector is not covered by a cover.
On the back side the rubberized material is covered by a cross/plus pattern. On the upper part there are printed both the name of the product, its capacity and the country of origin.
Software
The StoreJet 25H3 model is accompanied by several Software used to configure the Hard Drive and recover data.
RecoveRx
Is used to format the Hard Drive, recover data and protect it by locking the Hard Drive.
StoreJet Toolbox
It’s a Software meant to configure the storage device. It offers functions such as Low Level Formatting and advanced formatting options.
Elite Data Management
This Software is capable of creating a Backup copy of the entire Hard Disk, being compatible with the One Touch Auto-Backup button. Another feature of this software is the possibility of encrypting and decrypting the storage device. The Sync feature is designed to update the Firmware of the device.
5. Testing
To test the Hard Disk the following software was used: ATTO Disk Benchmark, HD Tune Pro 5.60, Crystal DiskMark 5.1.0. In order to obtain a precise result each test was performed three times.

6. Final thoughts
Transcend StoreJet 25H3 1TB is a good & efficient storage solution for keeping data safe, being also a small & lightweight device, weighting just 216g. The StoreJet 25H3 model is available in two variants: blue and purple.
The Hard Disk is designed to withstand harsh conditions, thanks to its 3-stage shock protection system: Rubber case, Reinforced Hard Casing, Internal HDD Suspension Damper.

In conclusion, Transcend StoreJet 25H3 is an efficient storage device thanks to its construction and the materials used. The read & write speeds are good for a device in this price segment.
