The LIX Plus is an ambidextrous mouse which has a good design that is focused around the honeycomb pattern which is carved out of the case. This is done to remove as much weight form the mouse as possible and it is a reoccurring trend. The LIX Plus has a symmetrical shape which results in the mouse being usable for both left-handed and right-handed users.
The LIX Plus has plenty of RGB integration, at the front and at the back plus, on the lower part of the back.
The dimensions of the mouse are: 126 mm x 65.7 mm x 38.5 mm.
The main click buttons have Omron made mechanical switches, the D2FC-F-K model to be exact. These switches are well-known for their good tactile feedback and also, have an endurance rating of 50 million clicks.
The scroll wheel is covered by a textured rubber coating for added grip. The center and lower sides are semi-transparent to allow for the light and color of the RGB LEDs to shine through.
The middle scroll wheel button uses a Huano made switch. This switch has a black casing with a red dot. The tactile feedback of this switch is good and to register, it requires a medium actuation force.
On the top side of the mouse and towards the center there is the DPI button. This will cycle through the predefined DPI & Lightning modes. The preinstalled profiles offer the following DPI values: 800, 1600, 2400, 3200, 6400 and 12000DPI.
The left side of the mouse has only two buttons at the top. These buttons have the standard forwards and backwards functions but those can be changed through the software. These buttons have a good tactile feedback thanks to the fact that they use Huano made mechanical switches. The black casing with red dot to be exact.
The right side of the mouse has no buttons or raised spaces for resting your fingers. In fact, this side is almost identical in shape with the left side.
The back side of the LIX Plus has a symmetrical arch that matches the curvature of the mouse, especially the front side. Here the logo of the manufacturer is present, but below the case of the mouse. And this logo, is only visible when the mouse is turned on, as it is illuminated by RGB.
The underside of the LIX Plus uses four small Teflon made feet/skates. There are no additional buttons or switches installed here. The feet are smaller than what other gaming mice are using, however they offer a smooth glide on most surfaces.
The cable of the LIX Plus has a length of approximately 1.65m and is covered by a soft textile sleeving. The connector used is a regular USB 2.0, which is gold plated for increased reliability. There is also a plastic cap protecting the connector during shipping, however it is not attached to the mouse.
