The AirBlazer 120RW is designed to work as both a case fan and as a heatsink & radiator fan. The impeller design used on the AirBlazer is similar with the design found on other Silverstone fans. The soft curvature and medium width shape of the blades is great for both airflow and static pressure. The AirBlazer 120RW is the same fan that is included with the Silverstone Permafrost CPU coolers.

The fan has the standard dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25 mm and has a minimum speed of 600RPM and a maximum speed of 2200RPM.

The AirBlazer 120RW has 9 impellers that are designed to deliver a good balance between static pressure and airflow. The frost white is used to better diffuse the color of the RGB LEDs installed inside the fan hub. This matte white plastic texture also evens out the brightness of the lights.

The AirBlazer 120RW uses a Dual ball bearing system. This type of system is louder than a fluid bearing system, however, it has a very good reliability and a rated lifespan of 70,000 hours.

The frame of the fan has rubber pads placed on both sides of each of the corners. These pads are nothing special but they do help with the vibration and noise reduction. In addition, these pads provide a solid base for the fan to sit on.

The back of the fan has a simple design, the support beams that hold the rotor in place are straight. The back side of the rotor has a simple black and white label which has the model number of the fan and the operating voltage.

The gap between the impellers and the inner edge of the frame is average. A higher gap allows for air and static pressure leakage, however, a smaller gap is hard to achieve without increasing the manufacturing  costs.

The AirBlazer 120RW has two sets of connectors and cables, unfortunately, these cables are not sleeved at all. Fortunately, the wires are white and match the rest of the fan.
In terms of the connectors, the fan uses a single 4 Pin connector for power and two 3-Pin connectors for the RGB LEDs.
