1. Introduction
Founded on July the 23th, 2004 by Sam Mathews, Anne Mathews and Nader Atoui. Fnatic is one of the most known gaming teams in the world, being the winner of the title “Team of The Year” in 2006.
In November 2015, the gaming peripheral company Func was acquired by the eSports team Fnatic. The goal of the new brand is producing high quality peripherals.

2. Packaging and accessories
The mouse is packaged in a white box with orange accents.
On the front side there is a general image of the product over a white background, in the top left corner there are printed the name and logo of the manufacturer. In the left lower corner there is the name of the mouse.
On the back side of the box we find a general presentation of the product using an overview image of it and some of its features, all printed on a dark green background, this being in contrast with the front side of the packaging.
On the sides of the box there is printed the manufacturer’s logo and the dark background featured on the back of the packaging.

4. Visual inspection
The mouse has a minimalist design oriented towards ergonomy and functionality, its matte texture being in contrast with the glossy finish of the buttons. The shape of the mouse is ideal for both gaming and daily use, the shape being symmetric.
The Scroll wheel is precise having a continuous movement, also it is RGB illuminated, the color can be set within the mouse’s driver. Above there is the profile button, the profiles are configured in the driver of the mouse.
On the left side there are three orange LEDs which indicate the current selected profile.
The Flick model uses Omron D2FC-F-7N switches for the left & right clicks (LMB & RMB). These switches have an excellent tactile feedback being comfortable and precise at the same time.
On the left side of the mouse we find two buttons, these have the “forward – back” functions. On the front there is printed the name of the mouse.
The mouse uses a 200 cm black braided cable, and a gold plated USB connector
On the inferior side of the mouse we find mounted the four Teflon feet and the optical ADNS 3310 sensor capable of 5000DPI.
5. Testing
The Flick model is based on the MS-2 mouse from Func, it has an exceptional build quality and uses a velvety matte material which is soft to touch. Even though the two mice are similar they are in fact completely different starting from the used sensor to the buttons and cable of the connector.
The shape of the mouse is ergonomic facilitating the use of palm-grip & claw-grip holding styles.
The performance of the mouse in games is excellent, both the buttons which use the Omron D2FC-F-7N switches and the ADNS 3310 optical sensor surpass the expectations through the offered tactile response.
Software
The mouse can pe configured using the driver offered by Fnatic on their website, this piece of software offers numerous customizing options with an intuitive & pleasant interface.
Basic Settings
Withing the “Basic Settings” window the user can customize the scroll speed, DPI setting, pointer sensitivity, Pooling Rate and the Double click speed.
Button Assignment
In the “Button Assignment” we find the buttons of the mouse, which can be customized.
Color Settings
The “Color Settings” window allows the user to modify every aspect of the scroll wheel illumination, this can be modified in numerous colors & shades.
Also within this window we find settings like turning off the illumination, brightness, saturation and a pulsing mode for the scroll wheel light.
Macro Recorder
Within the “Macro Recorder” window, the user can personalize the macro function of the mouse.
The mouse was tested both in normal use & gaming.
Normal day to day use consist of Internet browsing & a few photo & video editing software.
When it comes to games, the mouse behaved exemplary, being tested in multiple games.

6. Final thoughts
With an excellent optical sensor and a minimalist design, the Fnatic Gear Flick is very good mouse both in games and in daily use, being comfortable and light having a weight of approximately 30g.
The build quality is very good, the joints of the panels are great and the buttons have a smooth & cursive press.
The ADNS 3310 optical sensor maintains its precision & performance on every tested surface without any sensitivity differences.
The driver available on the Fnatic website uses an intuitive interface: the profiles can be configured with ease the same is the case with the Macro buttons.
In conclusion, the Fnatic Gear Flick is an excellent mouse which offers a good performance with a design meant to be ergonomic and efficient. The use of the ADNS 3310 optical sensor and the Omron D2FC-F-7N switches are the main features of this product, both offering a good performance both in games and daily use.
