Noctua is a company specialized in designing and producing of high-end coolers and fans for PC type systems. The company was founded in 2005 by Rascom Computerdistribution and Taiwanese company Kolink International. Today Noctua is present in more than 30 countries, being one of the most known manufacturers of cooling solutions.

Packaging and accessories
The NH-D15S chromax.black is packaged in a square cardboard box, which has a glossy texture and a two tone design. The front side of the box has a frontal photo of the cooler placed in front of an abstract angular pattern. The name of the cooler is printed on the upper left side, while lower the main features of the cooler are listed.
The sides of the packaging have the complete technical specifications of the cooler and the used fan. The other side features a description of the cooler and also has a tiny monochrome diagram of the NH-D15S.
The back of the box presents in detail the main features of the cooler. Each feature is presented with the help of a short introduction of it. The same pattern present on the front of the box is printed here, enhancing the overall design of the packaging.
The cooler and the included accessories are packaged in individual cardboard boxes. In terms of protection, there are thick soft foam pads placed around the CPU cooler & accessory box. The protection offered by the packaging is very good, the foam is soft and is present on all sides of the cooler.

There’s an error in the article: “The cooler can be acquired for around 89.99 US dollars or EUR, which is around 50 US Dollars less than the NH-D15 chromax.black, and on average 10 US dollars more expensive than the normal NH-D15S cooler.” In fact D15S is 10 EUR/USD less expensive than D15 and not 50 EUR/USD. Otherwise good review, keep up the good work!
While I agree with you, the pricing is a bit weird at the moment. The NH-D15 Chromax.black can be had either for relatively cheap, or for a big markup, I saw that product retail as high as 200 USD. However, you do have a valid point, and I have edited the article. Thank you for letting me know! 🙂
