The NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC-3000 PWM is identical in shape with the regular Noctua NF-F12 fan. The only difference design wise between these two models is the color used for the body and the rubber pads. While the NF-F12 PWM has the regular tan and beige color combination, the NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC 3000 has an all-black frame and hub, with dark brown rubber pads on the corners.
The NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC-3000 PWM is made from Fibre-glass reinforced polyamide and uses a three-phase motor design.
The fan has the following dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25 mm.
The NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC 3000 PWM has seven impellers which have the Heptaperf wide design to increase the static pressure of the fan.
The inner side of the frame has inner surface microstructures which are designed to reduce the noise of the impellers. In addition. These microstructures will help increase the airflow and static pressure of the fan by reducing the flow separation inside the fan.
The top part of the inner edge of the fan frame is not sharp, instead, it has a Stepped Inlet Design, which helps reduce the turbulence of the airflow that enters the fan.
The NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC 3000 PWM has the well-known Noctua SSO2 Bearing. This system is known for being silent and reliable, and it is used with many modern Noctua fans.
The frame of the fan uses the normal Noctua silicone pads which will dampen the vibration of the fan. These pads are dark brown and use the same clip and friction mounting system as all Noctua fans.
The back of the NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC 3000 PWM has 11 support beams that hold the rotor in place. Each of these beams has three notches carved into the surface, these will focus the airflow at the back of the fan and reduce the turbulence.
The label that is placed on the back of the motor has the complete model name of the fan and the general specifications of the motor. The Noctua emblem is placed on the upper side as is the case with all fans.
The NF-F12 INDUSTRIALPPC 3000 PWM has a standard 4-Pin connector for power and the cable is covered by high quality sleeving. Unfortunately, while the cable is covered by sleeving, the wires going to the motor of the fan are completely exposed.
