The Micron products are marketed and sold under then Crucial and Ballistix brands, these products include: SDRAM type memory, DDR/2/3/4 RAM and NAND & Flash type storage chips.
In 2009, Micron was the first company to announce an SSD equipped with a SATA interface capable of 6 Gbit/s speeds. At the present time, Micron is involved in the manufacture and sale of memory chips for countless brands and product types.

Packaging and accessories

The Ballistix MAX kit is delivered in a hard-flip book style cardboard box. This packaging design is made to reflect the higher standard in both performance and quality that is offered by the Ballistix MAX series. The front side of the box features the Crucial and Micron emblems and a label with the capacity and type of memory.


The back of the box offers a general description of the Ballistix MAX series. This description is printed in 10 different languages. On the lower side, the model number of the RAM kit is present on a small label.


The RAM modules are protected first by the hard-cardboard box on all sides. The second layer of protection is offered by the plastic made clamshell case, which holds both RAM modules.
