Visual inspection
The Silverstone PB06 has a simple design, and uses both plastic and aluminum in its construction. The front side of the power bank has a matte black finish while the underside is silver. In addition, the sides of the power bank casing are covered by a bright orange rubber strip which holds the 12V output cap attached.
On the front side, there are a total of four status LEDs. Three are bright blue and are the battery charge status indicators, while the last LED is bright green. The latter is the status LED for the Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology. In addition, to match with the orange rubber cap, the power button has the same orange shade.
The front of the power bank features a high-power LED flashlight which is controlled by the same orange button. The flashlight has two operating modes, turned on, or a strobe/flashing mode.
The input port of the power bank is located on the side of the casing, right next to the only output port available. The input port is a standard Micro USB port while the output port is a single USB 2.0.
The 12V output is placed on the back side of the power bank, and it is covered by a rubber/silicone self-contained cap. This port is where the jumper cables are connected to the power bank, and for some reason, it is always turned on.
