The Silicon Power US70 1TB has a simple design, the PCB uses the standard light blue color, and the only design elements present are on the label. Speaking of which, the label is not made from paper but it is made instead from a thin metallic alloy, which apparently can help with the cooling of the SSD.
The US70 1TB has the standard M.2 2280 form factor which means that the SSD has a width of 22 mm and a length of 80 mm, with a thickness of just 2mm.
The Silicon Power US70 uses the Phison PS5016-E16 controller. The PS5016-E16 is a PCIe Gen 4 x4 controller, and uses a dual-core ARM Cortex R5 processor.
The smaller Phison branded chip is in fact the voltage regulator module, or VRM for short for the controller. This chip has the model number: PS6106-22.
The SSD uses four Toshiba/Kioxia made 96-layer BiCS 4 TLC NAND memory chips. These have the model number: TABBG65AWV and each has a capacity of 256GB, which totals at around 1024GB of storage.
The cache used on the Silicon Power US70 1TB has two 512MB DDR4 RAM chips. These are made by SKhynix and have the model number: H5AN4G8NBJR-UHC.
