The Sabrent Rocket 1 1TB is a good-looking SSD, thanks to the dark blue color used on the PCB and the simple label design. The Rocket follows the same design path as the rest of the Rocket series of SSDs.
The Rocket 1TB has the standard M.2 2280 form factor which means that the SSD has a width of 22 mm and a length of 80 mm, and has a thickness of around 2mm.

The Rocket 1TB has its front side covered by a label which has two main purposes. First of all, this label is meant to offer a good and easy to recognize look for the SSD. Second of all, the underside of this label is made out of pure copper, which makes the label act as a small heatsink.
While a thin layer of copper will not create a massive drop in temperatures, it will help with the heat transfer.

The controller of the Sabrent Rocket 1TB is the Sabrent RKT 303 controller, which has the model number: PH-SBT-RKT-303. This is a rebranded Phison E12S controller, with a different heat spreader installed at the top.

The smaller Phison branded chip located next to the controller is the VRM controller of the SSD. The model number used for this controller is: PS6106-22.

The Sabrent Rocket 1TB has four Kioxia/Toshiba made, 96-layer 3D memory chips. These have the model number: TABBG65AWV and more than likely, have an individual storage capacity of 250GB.

The SSD has a total of 512mb of Fast DRAM Storage available, and the chip used is made by Kingston. This chip is a DDR3 512 MB model and runs at 1866MHz. The model number is: D1216ECMDXGJD.
