The Raijintek DELOS RBW has a unique design due to its reduced dimensions and the usage of no less than three fans. While Small Form Factor CPU coolers are nothing new, a model using three fans is a rare sight.
The DELOS RBW uses a dual tower heatsink and three 92mm fans. The entire CPU cooler and heatsink are covered by a black coating to match the color of the fans. This coating is present on everything from the cooling fins to the heatpipes.
This CPU cooler has a height of just 136mm, a width of 110mm and a depth of 128mm, with a weight of 735g.
The top of the heatsink is covered by a thick plastic made cover. This will not only protect the top part of the CPU cooler but it houses the RGB LEDs used on the DELOS RBW. The presence of LEDs inside this top cover results in a few cables attached to the side of the cover.
The heatsink has a dual tower design and a height of just 136mm with the before mentioned plastic cover. Each tower has no less than 32 aluminum made cooling fins that dissipate the heat.
The sides of the cooling fins are bent downwards to create a flush shape on the side of the heatsink. In addition to improving the overall design of the CPU cooler, this has the benefit of creating a channel for the airflow to pass through and prevents its leakage.
The DELOS RBW uses six copper made heatpipes, each with an outer diameter of 6mm and a lovely coating of paint on their surface. The heatpipes are arranged in the classic U shape to allow a better contact with all cooling fins and create a stronger frame for the heatsink.
The baseplate of this CPU cooler is made from its own heatpipes. This means that the DELOS RBW has a direct touch heatpipe design for its baseplate. A good one at that, as it has no gaps and no irregularities in its surface. This is often not the case, as a smooth baseplate made from heatpipes is harder to achieve during the manufacturing process.
The DELOS RBW uses three 92mm fans, these have a single model number present on the back label: BDM9025. The fans have a minimum speed of 600RPM and a maximum speed of 2000RPM. The system used by these fans is a use a hydraulic bearing system and the fans have an estimated life span of 40,000 hours.
The cable of the fans has a medium length and is completely black although it has no sleeving protecting it. The connector used is a standard 4 Pin which is fully PWM compatible.
