K&F Concept KF13.096 Backpack

Testing

The camera storage area is only accessible from the side of the backpack. While this is convenient, it’s also easy for others to access your camera and leases. The good thing here is that to unzip both zippers on the camera & lens area you need a certain degree of force and coordination. I am saying this because both zippers should be opened at the same time for the best result.

The main backpack storage area is easy to access and has a good level of security thanks to the metal made claps. In addition, this part of the backpack can be extended to handle more items while keeping the diameter of the backpack the same.

The KF13.096 backpack is comfortable, thanks to its use of soft mesh padding on both the back side of the backpack and its two straps. These pads are not only soft but also have some degree of breathability and will prevent moisture buildup.

Final thoughts

The K&F Concept KF13.096 backpack has a good build quality and plenty of features that make it great for both camera and general usage. However, this is not a dedicated camera backpack as it offers too small of a space for a camera and lenses. In addition, dedicated pockets for a battery pack and short cables are missing.

What the K&F Concept KF13.096 does have however, is space. This backpack is already large and can have its internal space enlarged at the top part. This offers more flexibility space wise than other backpacks.

The build quality is very good, starting from the stitching to the clasps and zippers used. Everything is perfectly centered on the fabric and the same can be said for the fabric itself. The woodland camo pattern has a high resolution.

The outer fabric used on the KF13.096 has a smooth surface and is water resistant. If that’s not enough, inside the backpack there is an included water proof cover that will protect the entire surface of the backpack once installed.

The internal layout of the KF13.096 is simple, at the bottom you have a drawer for a camera and two lenses while on the upper part you have a general area.

In conclusion, the K&F Concept KF13.096 is a great backpack for a hike and to keep your items dry, it will handle a camera, but it’s not made for heavy duty camera usage. If you can glance over that fact and make do with the limited camera and lens space it offers, then this backpack is worth trying out for yourself, as it offers a good amount of space and is well-made.
