Fractal Design Celsius+ S24 Dynamic

Visual inspection

The Fractal Design Celsius+ S24 Dynamic is almost identical in design with the Celsius+ S24 Prisma. Both the Dynamic and the Prisma CPU coolers are based on the 6th Generation of Asetek pumps, and are available with different radiator sizes.
The design of the Celsius+ S24 Dynamic is minimalist, with all black radiator, fans and tubing. The water block has a ring of addressable RGB LEDs which can be controlled through the motherboard.

The Celsius+ S24 Dynamic has a standard 240mm radiator and uses two 120mm fans which are part of the Dynamic X2 series.

The CPU block of the cooler is lightweight and made from good quality plastic. The shell of the pump and block assembly is covered by a soft matte coating. The top part of the water block has a matte finish that will also act as a basic screen and will display the Fractal Design logo and the pump operating mode.

The baseplate of the CPU water block is made from solid copper and has a linear brushed texture on the surface. In addition, the baseplate is covered by a layer of thermal compound. Unfortunately, while other CPU coolers have smooth base plates, this cold plate is attached to the body of the pump by no less than eight Torx screws.

The CPU water block has a 3-pin header on the side of the casing. This is used to connect the included addressable RGB cable to the CPU block LEDs. However, if the header is left empty, then the LEDs will glow in white.

The pump of the cooler is powered through a standard 3 Pin power connector. The cable is covered by good quality sleeving and is long enough to reach most fan headers on the motherboard.

The tubes of the Celsius+ S24 Dynamic have a length of 400mm and are flexible. The tubes are covered by a high-quality woven sleeving.

The tubes are connected to the radiator with standard fixed plastic fittings. However, on the pump/ water block side, the tubes use two 90-degree angled fittings. These can rotate and swivel to allow for more movement of the tubes when the cooler is installed.

The radiator used with the Celsius+ S24 Dynamic is simple in design, it has a length of 284mm, a width of 122mm and a thickness of 31mm. This radiator has the classic form factor with the rounded corners, this small detail improves the installation process of the cooler.

A great feature of the Celsius+ S24 Dynamic is found on the right side of the radiator, in between the tube fittings. The Celsius+ series of CPU coolers have an integrated fan and RGB hub. This little hub has a total of four headers for the fans and two headers for addressable RGB Connectors. By default, one of the 4-Pin fan headers is already used by the cable of the pump.

The two fans used with the Celsius+ S24 Dynamic are part of the Dynamic X2 series. These are regular 120mm fans with the dimensions: 120 mm x 120 mm x 25 mm. The model number of the fans is Dynamic X2 GP-12 PWM.

The fans have a minimum speed of 500RPM and a maximum speed of 2000RPM. The power is delivered through a regular 4-Pin connector.
