Testing
The following system was used to test the case:
– Processor: Intel i5 4690K @ 4.5 GHz
– Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 9 ACK
– Memory: Corsair DDR3 16GB
– GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti Direct CU II
– SSD: Crucial MX 500GB
– HDD: WD 1 TB Blue
– PSU: SilentiumPC Supremo L2 Gold 650W
– CPU Cooler: Intel
– OS: Windows 10 64-Bit (After April Update)
The interior of the Endorfy Arx 500 ARGB is done well, and it offers a lot of room to install even large graphics cards. You can install graphics cards with a length of up to 350mm if you’re not using any radiators at the front. Air CPU coolers with a height of up to 179mm, and power supplies with a length of up to 300mm.
With the system installed we get to see the RGB options with this case, and the options are mostly well, just the fans, that’s it, that’s the whole RGB, just the fans. But it’s a good RGB system that can be synchronized with your motherboard and thus, have a uniform light pattern across the entire system.

Final thoughts
The Endorfy Arx 500 ARGB is a good budget case, and for under 100 USD or EUR, it is really good value. It is good looking, has RGB LEDs and good fans preinstalled, the space to work with inside is good too.
The build quality with this case is great, easily on par with cases that are more expensive from bigger brands. There are no sharp edges on the chassis and the same can be said for the front removable panel.
The feet used on the Arx 500 ARGB are good, sturdy and the case will not slip around your desk. A good thing to mention the feet is that they are tall enough to allow for good airflow around the underside of the case, thus, the power supply has a good intake.
The RGB is good but it is limited to the fans, in essence, the case has no RGB but the included fans do. You replace the fans you replace the RGB system in simple terms. However, it is great that Endorfy has included a dual-purpose controller, that not only controls the speed of the fans but their RGB as well.
However, while this case is great, it has one letdown. For some reason, it lacks an intake dust filter which is something that I cannot understand. Of course, the reason might be to have as less restrictive of an intake as possible but still, you have the main intake of the case left exposed to dust. And yes, that metal mesh will do some dust protection but it’s not enough especially for such a big intake.
In conclusion, the Endorfy Arx 500 ARGB is a good budget case that offers a good performance and a good design. The build quality is excellent and the same can be said for the space inside. Not only you can use large CPU coolers and graphics cards, but the cable management is a breeze. The only drawback is the lack of a front dust filter on the intake, which will cause a quicker dust buildup inside the system.
