The Dream Machines DreamKey has a simple design with no added graphics or unusual shapes. The keyboard has 104 keycaps and individual RGB LEDs placed inside the switch, in addition, the symbols and letters are not placed on the top side of the keycaps, instead, they are placed on the front side at an angle.
The layout of the DreamKey is simple, with no additional keys for media control or for macro. Instead, all the macro functionality and the media control are done within the standard 104 keys.
The DreamKey is available in three different variants based on the mechanical switches used and in two variants based on the form factor, TKL or standard.

The keyboard uses a detachable USB Type-C cable, unfortunately, this cable is not sleeved but it is flexible enough to not cause issues.

At the back, the Dreamkey has a simple design and layout, with a total of four rubber pads that will prevent the keyboard from sliding around the desk. A channel is present towards the back of the keyboard, this is used to route the cable around the back of the keyboard.

The Dreamkey uses two adjustable feet, located at the back of the keyboard, these have rubber pads on their contact surface. However, while they do work as intended, for some reason, they are very hard to rotate from their slot.

The switches used on the DreamKey are manufactured by Kailh and you have a choice of three variants: white Kailh box, red Kailh box and brown Kailh box. The keyboard used in this review uses the white Kailh box switches. These have an actuation force of 50 grams and a lifespan of over 80 million presses.
