Biostar is a company founded in 1986 headquartered in Taiwan. In the early years of existence, Biostar focused exclusively on producing motherboards, later expanding to produce graphics cards and IT accessories.

Packaging and accessories
The Biostar Z790 Valkyrie is packaged in a cardboard box that features the Valkyrie design. This means a black background with a brushed texture and abstract elements printer all over. The front of the box features the Valkyrie logo and name and the complete name of the motherboard.
The back side of the box presents the main features of the motherboard on the upper part. However, the lower part is dedicated to the complete technical specifications and also, has a diagram of the I/O panel.
The motherboard sits inside an antistatic bag and it is protected by cardboard pads on the sides. The accessories are stored underneath the motherboard, in a different cardboard tray.
