The AZZA Blizzard 240 is a regular RGB liquid CPU cooler that manages to both satisfy the RGB demand of the market and not look tacky. This design has been used on many other CPU coolers with various degrees of success, however, the Blizzard 240 looks good.

The CPU cooler has a standard layout with its pump integrated inside the CPU water block and regular fittings on both ends of the tubing.
The Blizzard series is available in three variants based on the radiator size: 120mm, 240mm and 360mm.

The CPU water block of the Blizzard 240 has been updated from the previous model. This new water block has the new AZZA Tek logo and a ring of light. The previous variant used to have the AZZA name with an infinity mirror design.

The CPU water block has a height of 78.4 mm and a width of 87.9 mm. There is no added functionality on this water block. No integrated display or a mode to control the pump installed inside.

The pump used on the Blizzard CPU coolers has a maximum speed of 2600 RPM and an estimated life span of 40.000 Hours. The speed of this pump is constant at 2600 RPM, and the only way to lower it is to use a low noise adapter or a voltage-based controller. However, these types of pumps are made to work at maximum RPM constantly, and lowering the speed and voltage might reduce the reliability and life span of the pump.

The CPU water block has two cables, one for power with a 3-pin connector and another cable for the RGB with a 3-pin addressable RGB connector.

The fittings are made from plastic or a mix of plastic and metal. On the radiator side, the fittings are static and straight while on the CPU water block the fittings are angled at 90° and can swivel.

The baseplate is made from solid copper and has a linear brushed texture. Unfortunately, this baseplate is attached to the water block with no less than 10 Torx screws. This might create pockets of air within the thermal compound on some CPUs that use a larger contact surface.

The Blizzard 240 uses two tubes, with a length of 400mm. These tubes are flexible and are covered by woven synthetic sleeving.

The radiator of the Blizzard 240 is made from aluminum and has a length of 274 mm and a width of 120mm with a height of 27mm. The only featured offered by this radiator that is not found on other standard radiators is an air bleed port. This port is used to fill and bleed the loop of the CPU cooler. However, using this bleed port means voiding the warranty as the port is covered by a warranty sticker.

The fans included with the AZZA Blizzard 240 are the new AZZA Hurricane III Digital RGB. These have addressable RGB LEDs and 9 impellers. Much like other AZZA fans, these too have rubber pads on only one side of the fan frame.

The fans have a maximum speed of 1800 RPM and a minimum speed of 1000 RPM. Thankfully, these fans can be controlled through PWM.
