The following system was used to test the fans:

The 120mm fans has been tested using a 240mm CPU liquid cooler, the SilverStone TD02-E at max. RPM.
The 140mm fans has been tested using a 280mm CPU liquid cooler, the NZXT Kraken X61 at max. RPM.

The noise level was measured at three different distances from the fans (10cm, 20cm, 30cm.) the noise was measured with a margin of error of ± 5 db.
The In Win Polaris RGB Aluminum can be acquired for around 87 Eur or 75 USD for the Twin Pack, or 44 EUR/40 USD for a single fan. However, these fans have probably one of the best RGB implementations available. Not in the way the LEDs are creating the light and colors, but in the way the transparent hub, blades and the aluminum frame diffuse them.
With a maximum speed of 1280 RPM, the performance of the Polaris Aluminum RGB is pretty good, being in the middle of the 120mm fan performance graph. The sound is also very good, the sound peak was 33 decibels, recorded at 10 centimeters away from the system. This is also of course, due to the low RPM operation of the fans, but also thanks to the Fluid Dynamic Bearing used.
The only inconvenient with these fans is for one, the high price that is above the level of some high-performance fans, and of course, the modular system that uses a custom-made connector. A proprietary connector will be hard to use, if the cables of the fan are misplaced, especially after a couple of years.
In conclusion, the In Win Polaris RGB Aluminum is a great looking fan with one of the best RGB implementations on the market. The 2.5mm thick aluminum frame, has a great fit and finish, on par with other In Win high end products. The rest of the fan has the same quality, starting with the semi-transparent blades and hub, and the rubberized corners and the modular connectors.
